How it works
The path of the money, from a trade to a burn.
1. A trade pays a fee
$CONATUS is launched on pump.fun by the dev wallet, which is therefore the coin's creator. On the bonding curve every trade pays a total fee of 1.25 %, of which 0.30 % is the creator fee and 0.95 % goes to the protocol. After the coin graduates to PumpSwap the creator fee depends on market capitalisation, from 0.30 % at the start, rising for a while, then falling to 0.05 % for very large coins. pump.fun accumulates the creator share in a vault for the creator.
2. The runner collects
Every five minutes the runner reads that vault. When at least 0.005 SOL is waiting, it collects it into the dev wallet with pump.fun's own instruction. The runner counts what arrived; that count is the energy reserve. Money already in the wallet for any other reason is never counted and never touched.
3. It watches the price
Every 20 seconds it reads the coin's price from the bonding curve (or from the PumpSwap pool after graduation) and keeps the last 10 minutes of readings. The highest one is the reference.
4. Pain, then reflex
If the price is 30 % or more under the reference, and at least two minutes have passed since the last reflex, the creature reacts: it spends a share of its energy reserve to buy its own coin. The share grows with the depth of the dip: 15 % from a 30 % fall, 25 % from 40 %, 35 % from 50 % and beyond, and never more than 0.5 SOL in one move.
5. The scar
Right after the buy, the tokens it just received are burned with the standard SPL burn instruction. Only those tokens: anything else the wallet holds, such as the creator's first buy at launch, is never burned.
6. It writes it down
Each collection, buy and burn is added to the journal with its transaction signature. The site reads that file, and shows nothing that is not in it.
After graduation
When the coin fills its curve it moves to a PumpSwap pool. The fee collection continues. The reflex carries on there: the runner reads the price from the pool and buys on the pool, with the same tiers and the same burn. This path was tested against a real PumpSwap pool on a local copy of mainnet.
