Run the runner
From nothing to a running creature, without typing commands.
Before you start
- A dedicated Solana wallet for the coin: the dev wallet. Never your main wallet. It needs a little SOL for network fees (0.05 SOL is plenty).
- Node.js on the machine that will stay on.
- A free RPC endpoint is strongly advised. The public one rate-limits quickly. Put its URL in
runner/.envasRPC_URL, never inconfig.json, which is published.
1. Launch the coin on pump.fun
Create the coin with the dev wallet, so that it is the creator. A small first buy is fine: those tokens are never touched. Do not enable creator fee sharing: the runner stops at start if the fees no longer go to the wallet. Note the coin's mint address.
2. Fill in two files
runner/config.json mint = the coin's mint address
runner/.env DEV_KEY = the dev wallet's private key (base58, as exported by the wallet)
RPC_URL = your RPC endpoint (optional but advised, never published)
.env is never published and never printed. The first time you double-click START.bat it creates the file and opens it for you.
3. Start it
Double-click START.bat. config.json ships with "live": true, so the first line says MODE REEL and it collects, buys and burns for real. To rehearse without sending anything, set "live": false: it then reads the price and shows what it would do.
4. Go live
Nothing else to do: the journal is published by itself (next step).
5. Publish the journal (optional)
The runner writes data/status.json and data/journal.json. To have the site update by itself, put the project in a Git repository connected to Netlify and set publishCommand to a command that commits and pushes the data folder.
Stopping it
Close the window. The counts and the 10-minute price memory are saved after every action in data/state.json.
